Industry veteran Stephane Bourillot was recently named the new President of Nicholson Construction Company.
Mr. Bourillot comes to Nicholson from parent company Soletanche Bachy, where he held many leadership roles in a variety of international environments.
Prior to joining Nicholson, Mr. Bourillot was the Business Unit Regional Director responsible for Soletanche’s construction activities in the southern half of France. He has overseen projects and operations in South East Asia, United Kingdom, French West Indies and the Mediterranean region.
Mr. Bourillot has been part of some of the most difficult and technically challenging geotechnical construction projects and techniques in Soletanche-Bachy’s resume including foundations for some of the world’s tallest towers, underground subway stations and intricate combined-sewer overflow structures through the use of diaphragm wall and/or tunnel construction methods.
“Nicholson has a very strong history and reputation as an industry expert and innovator of many geotechnical construction techniques,” said Bourillot. “I’m very proud to be part of this team and to help take Nicholson into a very successful future.”
Mr. Bourillot holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from ESTP Paris and a PhD from CHEC Paris specializing in reinforced and pre-stressed concrete.
