Nicholson completed 9,000 square feet of cutter soil mixed (CSM) wall for a test program for the construction of a large basement below the groundwater table. The panels were constructed to 60 feet below grade through sand and limestone. Total length of the wall constructed was approximately 150 linear feet. Quality and consistency of CSM was confirmed through wet grab samples, core drilling and laboratory testing of unconfined compressive strength.
